Negative experience: The rental team was challenging to work with and didn't have a strong understanding of the tenancy laws. We asked Ray White to inform the tenants that they had to move out on the day the fixed-term tenancy agreement ended as per the contract. The tenancy team said this wasn't possible and explained that we would have to wait until March to get the house back. Several emails later, they said that the tenancy could end in January. After a few more emails, they agreed to ask the tenants to move out on the date stated in the agreement. A month later, they emailed back explaining they had asked the tenants to move out a month early and asked if they could stop paying rent, claiming that we had asked them to move out immediately. We were shocked by their poor communication skills and limited knowledge of tenancy laws. It was incredibly difficult to get the team to call an electrician to repair a fan that was under warranty. We emailed the team and eventually gave up, calling the electrician ourselves to check that the work was completed.
