Negative experience: Bayleys Marton are beyond shocking. You would do a lot better with even a smile. Bitter sour faced and sour attitudes from both Karen and the other one. Shocking would absolutely not recommend at all
Negative experience: POOR POOR service through BAYLEYS Marton (Karen Leighton and Jaimee Simpson). We are VERY unhappy with their service, very unprofessional behaviour and rude. On many occasions we have been turned down for rentals with absolutely no explanation! Every viewing we have attended (thousands) they have been nothing but rude and disrespectful, no real estate agent should have an attitude and not even say hello or introduce themselves and run a proper viewing explaining about the house and answering questions without disgusting attitude and nasty looks. I repeat POOR service! Fix your issues instead of judging others, we were looking desperately for a home for over 2 years (2 full time working adults one of which also being on a pension and one waiting on knee surgery needing a suitable spacious house for mobility needs) and NOTHING happened, NEVER bothered to contact our references and believed lies instead without seeing the proof in photos of what our at the time current agent had to say! We had photos of clear PROOF! We have in person WITNESSES so fix yourselves and do a better job! A good point to make too, MANY of the houses we applied for ended up back on the market for rent and you purposely avoided our application!

Fantastic experience: Amazing team!! Helped me and my daughter find our place in the manawatu district, after relocating from the South Island. Having a child in a wheelchair can be difficult when finding the right rental, but the team didn’t find it a challenge at all with open prompt communication regarding property changes to suit my daughters needs. Fantastic experience: Karen (Marton) office is a most efficient property manager. She not only quickly found a quality long term tenant for our house, but produces a quarterly inspection report that is a first class presentation including plenty of photos.

Fantastic experience: When I was looking at OTHER Property Management companies, I was put off because they wouldn't meet during the weekend to have a look through the property (and I don't live local) - everything just seemed too hard for them, and when they did eventually come they didn't seem to know the Healthy Homes requirements well and wouldn't even sign the property up UNTIL it had met the HH Standard (as opposed to allowing the grace period). However, Karen and the team from Bartley's have been great. Nothing has been a problem and very knowledgeable in Property Management. They've even saved me money finding far cheaper options than what I could have found for things like carpet cleaning, insulation installs and chemical testing.
