Fantastic experience: Thomas was a hard working agent - determined to get our house sold! Communication was regular, consistent and insightful. Thomas always answered any questions we had, providing a thorough explanation. He went above and beyond, coordinating additional tasks such as Builders Reports and trades people. Once we had prepped the house for sale we had very little to do, just kept the lawns mowed! Thomas followed up with potential buyers regularly, hosting many additional private viewings, and kept us regularly informed with messages and weekly vendor reports. Fantastic experience: Couldn’t ask for better. . The house myself and my wife purchased had been on the market for a while. I would hate to know how many open homes Jade had done before we came through. Jade’s professional manner shone through when we asked for some information and she sent back more than what we asked for. Great line of communication. Jade took calls at 5.08pm on a Friday night. If we were to sell we would definitely be using Jade as our agent. Couldn’t ask for better. Made the experience of buying in today’s market a lot better to deal with. If only the banks could take a page out of her book.

Negative experience: We were dissatisfied with the service we received yesterday: we came from Palmerston North in reponse to the ad as the description included the fact that the house had 2 toilets (and it has only one). Then the agent, Thomas Taylor, promised to let us know if there was insulation in the house, but I received a message today saying we would have to pay for a builders' report in order to get this information. He also couldn't tell us if the gas heater (the main heater) was working. We expected to be able to see inside the garage, and could not. We think this is not good customer service.

The knowledge that Jan possesses is outstanding, not only of the area in general and the pricing of the area, but also the suggestions to enhance the house during the open homes. The photos to be shown on the web site were discussed and then selected by us both, there certainly wasn't an attitude of this is what will be shown. During the whole process from the first day that Jan came to visit and looked at my house, to hosting the open homes, to the sale, the attitude that Jan has shown, was extremely professional. I wouldn't use any one else.

Negative experience: NIGHTMARE! NO CONTINUITY! After renting my house out officially in September 23 2022 and now living in Melbourne I’ve been contacted on average once a month of harcourts telling me they have a new agent as my go to, you think you are dealing with a certain agent and then they are no longer available. The tradies they use to go out to my house to do a job as simple as fix a tap takes 3 visits and try to charge 3 times, I have recently been contacted by REBECCA WHITT who has tried to tell me I have an outstanding invoice from November 2022 that has not been paid when every single other fortnight HARCOURTS LEVIN deducted outstanding invoices to the tradies they use. I feel like they are using local companies/trades who are onboard with them to lift money from home owners like myself. “Outstanding invoice out of the blue 12 months later” I don’t think so, I’ve cut this agency off and I’d recommend anyone stay away, read all reviews before using them.
