Negative experience: I was looking for storage unit and didn't have a good experience with Bayleys. The staff member who looked after them was on leave and no one else knew what to do. I'll give them credit they worked to sort it out but they need to do better.

Negative experience: Our experience with this agency was disappointing. The sale process took over seven months, during which we received minimal communication or meaningful updates. We were pressured to reduce the sale price and asked to include the dishwasher in the sale at the pre-inspection stage, which we reluctantly agreed to. Throughout the process, our property was handled by three different agents due to staff turnover, resulting in inconsistency and a lack of continuity. Overall, the service fell well short of our expectations.

Plead my case to the lovely Rental Agent about needing a large dog friendly home please. We had the job, just nowhere to go at the end of the shift. Rare as rocking horse shit but she found us a beaut rental. Tidy, warm, expensive but it’s ours. They organised the landlord whacking up a gate to complete the fully fenced situation which was perfect. Inspections are regular but fair. Maintenance issues have been addressed. All in all another friendly efficient Whanganui team that get stuff happening. Floki & I are forever in your debt. 4 walls beats 4 wheels every time! ❤️

Negative experience: My husband received an apology from the sales manager,, but no offer to recompense for his out of expense costs. We no longer do business with this agency and would not recommend them to anyone.

Negative experience: My experience was not good at all.. I received no replies to my texts to the agent at all & had to prompt her to make time to go & present an offer my husband & I made on a property.. my husband was advised by her that she was busy signing up new listings with an apology after I rang Bayleys office to complain that calls & texts were not being answered as we waited to hear if the offer we presented was made. Due to recent changing market we were unable to sell our place in time to purchase & did not hear back when we didn't extend offer

Negative experience: Was asked to conduct a pre-purchase building report for an Auckland couple. The agent never replied to my call/s and text message and instead sucked them into using someone else. This isn't a case of sour grapes - I have plenty of work - but just goes to the ethics of a company that promotes integrity and instead undermines that to close sales in a tightening market. You gotta ask the question!

Negative experience: I have to say I as shocked by the lack of professionalism of the staff. I enquired about a section and had a few questions about covenants etc. but the moment Annemarie Horrocks found I was unlikely to purchase because of covenants, rather than offering to discuss with developer as I requested, she simply changed the tone of her voice and couldn't get me off the phone quick enough as if I was wasting her precious time. In my opinion totally un-professional. I've been buying and selling houses/land for decades and have never been treated like this before, not even close to it.
