Fantastic experience: Tremains have managed our investment property for 7 years, during this time we have had a great experience, the tenants have been well vetted and well suited to the property, maintenance has been addressed early so as to avoid any future issues and the rental return has remained at market rent. We have had little to no vacancy over this period of time. The team are also very friendly and quick to respond to any questions or requests.

If we have any maintenance issue they have an excellent team of local tradies to assist with any faults or repairs very promptly. Would recommend to anyone considering renting or looking to get there property managed.

Fantastic experience: We had Dominique as a property manager nearly the whole time we rented. Amazing experience! We found it really easy to get along with her, she wasn’t a scary property manager. She understands that you live in the house so when it comes to inspections things didn’t have to be squeaky clean they just had to be taking care of and kept in a good/tidy condition. When it came to maintenance or when things broke she was easy to contact and fast to sort things out. If we rented again we would 100% have Dominique our property manager again.

Negative experience: If I could rate them zero,I would do it. Terrible agents, lying directly in emails about condition of our house tenants left after they moved out. Once I came to check, walls were damaged, dirt was everywhere ,even duvet toper was so dirty that you can clearly see foot prints on them Hey!!!! Foot prints on the duvet cover!!! Carpet was damaged too,same as tap in the kitchen and all that just after 6 months. Agents said everything was 'clean and tidy'. Not taking responsibility for anything saying 'by the law' tenants are not in obligation to leave the property to re-tenant, and that everyone has different standards how clean should be. If, by any miracle, you decide to go with Tremains, be careful, because Agents can sign 'on your behalf' something you wouldn't even know

Fantastic experience: Outstanding support and service. I found Benedict and Husk to be incredibly professional and supportive through what was a less than straight forward purchase. Communication was fabulous with regular calls to check in on how I was going with the process, this was greatly appreciated. Purchasing to relocate meant I was working remotely but Husk liaised with all of my trades and service providers to ensure we could tick all the boxes on time with ease. On my day of arrival into Taupo Husk and Benedict came to meet me with a beautiful gift and wanted to check in that all was well. They even had a handyman ready to go for all my odd jobs I needed to get done immediately and ongoing. I have felt incredibly supported and welcome, buying a house on my own in another city was a monumental task and I never once felt on my own. I would highly recommend the team of Benedict and Husk, whether you are buying or selling.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding!! We gave Dale the hardest possible option as to marketing, to maintain the continuity of air BnB operations during the process and she took it all in her stride, working with the site managers to book viewings and open homes. She succeeded admirably in find the right buyer in excellent time.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding, kept in communication and extremely professional. In a time of urgent need we hit the jackpot with Dale. We felt terrible disturbing her break over-seas but she went out of her way to ensure we were taken care of. Dale was caring and obliging. We really did not have to worry about a thing. Dale was a great mouthpiece between us the buyer, and the home-owner. I want to invite her back for a cuppa once the new curtains for the big doors were installed but we are still waiting for the material. Will let you know soon Dale. Thanks for everything. :)

Negative experience: Terrible agent (as mentioned by another review below) essentially tried to blackmail us into paying for repairs for damages that were already present at the property before we even moved in and lied directly in emails about costings. Incredibly shoddy service. Will be seriously thinking of taking a case up with the tenancy tribunal in the very near future.
