And, as per the nature of the industry, we fully expect them all to be working for the Vendor first, the realestate agency second, and the buyer last. What we didn't expect, was to find ourselves engaging with a realestate agent who was honest, sincere, and determined to work to a resolution that ALL parties were happy with. Enter; Gary Capper. He's been an absolute Champ to work with right from the beginning...which we've sorely needed as first home buyers who are new to the game. Harry showed a lot of integrity by doing what he said he would do, and in a warm and bubbly way. We chose to sell our house under auction, and while we were a bit anxious about it, the support Harry and the rest of the team he works with showed us on the night was wonderful. Fantastic experience: Would use again! We met Gary when looking at properties when deciding if we would sell. He stood out as professional and experienced. Once we decided to test the market Gary was one of 4 agents we talked to. All were good, however Gary understood us and listened to our needs. After all we love our house & deep down didn’t want to sell. He never commoditised our property, which was very important. Being at the higher end of the market it took a month or 2 to get a few offers. The market had slowed down. Gary stayed positive. We go a few offers and then it was a waiting game to go unconditional. Once we got nearer the end we had seen so many houses to buy, none of them quite met our needs. Once again Gary new us quite well by then. He knew our needs and style. He showed us properties that could meet our needs. 3-4 in total. We bought one! It wasn’t his listing, however he still assisted. The difference Gary made was that he got to know us and our needs. He never judged, he gently got us to where we needed to be. He is very patient…… We are looking forward to moving into our new house. It’s not our forever home, however easy living and also a small project. We will definitely approach Gary if we sell again. We are looking forward to having a beer with him in our new home and showing him what we make of it. We highly recommend Gary’s as a real estate agent. Negative experience: I had a bad experience with Jo Wardle and I suggest avoiding dealing with her in the future. Very negative, trying to talk me out of attending an auction and I felt like she really didn't want me buying the property I was interested in. Poor communication too. Would not recommend.
