Negative experience: I just wanted to share my recent experience of Voyle & Co Reality. My wife and I decided to move from the city to the Kapiti Coast and attended a number of open homes over a number of weeks with Voyles. We attend three and all were hosts by Mike Boyle which we had no issues with - profession throughout but none of the properties fitted the bill, which we told Mike at the time of each viewing. He made a note and said we wouldn't be contacted again about in the future. Fast forward four weeks from the viewings and Mike's wife Audra rang my wife around 7.30pm in the evening. The conversation was along the lines regarding one of the properties we viewed that we urgently needed to make an offer as another one had been made by another party. My wife pointed out the above - we weren't interested in any of the properties and even less likely to make an offer on it or any other ones we viewed. A week later my wife received a similar call, again in the evening but this time left on her answer phone. Again, the same line of conversation but in relation to one of the other two properties we viewed - with an urgency to make an offer on. Needless to say we ignored replying to Audra and two months down the track haven't received a callback, thankfully. Ironically we watched both properties on Trademe and both took between 4 and 8 weeks for the sold sign to appear. Interesting!

Fantastic experience: Exceptional service . Mike could not have been more helpful and professional in his approach. He went the extra mile to negotiate an agreement that was acceptable to both parties following a number of resets, which given the current market challenges was not straightforward. It took a lot of tenacity and patience on his part and throughout the process he maintained a friendly and approachable attitude. A year before we signed up to anything we had Mike around to give us his opinion on the house, he had lots of cost effective practical tips on how to improve the look and feel of our home, plus he had contacts with good local business who helped with the bits out of our league. Once we signed up, as apart of the service Mike and Audra helped dress the house providing a coffee table, rug and some pillows for the duration of the campaign.
