Negative experience: We recently dealt with Chongde Tang from Ray White, and our experience was extremely disappointing. In our personal opinion, the process felt unfair and unprofessional. We submitted what we believed was a strong offer — matching the price and conditions the vendor had asked for. We had already been increasing our offer since auction day, becoming the highest bidders and then continuing through the negotiation process. Eventually, we were willing to pay exactly what the vendor wanted and had this written into the sale and purchase agreement. However, despite this, the agent informed us the next day — after not responding for almost a full day — that the property had suddenly become a multiple-offer situation. We were then asked to fill out a new multiple-offer form and increase our price even further. From our perspective, it felt like our genuine interest and emotions were being taken advantage of. Overall, this experience left us feeling let down and frustrated. In our view, the communication, professionalism, and transparency throughout the process were far below what we expected from a real estate agent.

Fantastic experience: Excellent experience with Ray White, big thanks to Johny and Karam, also Nelson for referring us to Float Mortgages, we had great dealings with the team and are happy customers. The only issue I had is a rude receptionist on the phone, as I was trying to get the sold sign taken down from my neighbours garden 5 weeks after the sale. Howver, their auctions are also very well run for sellers too, it was all a very professional, friendly, efficient and reliable experience. Definitely recommend Ray White Manukau!

Negative experience: I can't speak to the skillset of the Manukau branch team, but I do have concerns about their approach to advertising and client outreach in areas already serviced by smaller Ray White branches. This strategy feels unfair to those local teams and, at times, intrusive, especially when it includes door-to-door visits to homes that clearly display 'do not knock' stickers. I respectfully ask that your team focus on supporting your immediate community, rather than actively targeting clients from neighbouring branches. Our local branch provides a great example of support, they don't engage in unsolicited door knocking, but instead share information through opt-in communication, at community events or through occasional brochures in the mailbox. They seem to recognise that if we were interested in selling, we would reach out ourselves, rather than when we are approached uninvited in our own homes. - I am not the only one that has had negative comments about this branch's approach and how it impacts our local branch, but it seems I am the only local willing to voice it so far.

Negative experience: We had the worst experience with Khush & Amisha where they both failed to provide even basic customer service. They are so rude and arrogant. They need to understand that this is not grocery that people are buying instead it is a very big decision to buy a house. They dont even let you do the viewing of the property if you have not approached them directly even if it says 'OPEN HOME'. We were referred by some other agent but they didn't let us view the property and then they both laughed just when we left without viewing. They should atleast have basic manners.

Positive experience: Worked with two of their agents on two properties we ultimately didn't buy. We found their agents to be professional, if slightly pushy (my FHB friend was amazed/shocked at how many times I had to repeat that we wouldn't bid at auction). What was disappointing was their pricing strategy. They have listed a property for enquiries over $x, when it passed in at a higher price at auction two days ago. This smacks of a classic agent tactic of low balling a price to get more offers, then pressuring both the vendor and buyer to meet somewhere in the middle. I should say the property went for much higher than we valued it at, so they had obviously done a great job at marketing and promotion.

Negative experience: We bought house,wen went to do pre inspection this girl said you can put yr stuff since we will get the key tomorrow. We put all the stuff inside and later the owner went to check da house n told us to remove all the stuff,wen we were trying to call this lady she was not answering. We had to hire a truck to get all the stuff back home.shame on this salesgirl
