Negative experience: Everything from the start was a major red flag. For starters I was meant to get an email from Chelsea regarding information about which apartments were available. After a few days of no contact, I followed up, and then followed up again, and finally got an automated response that said I have to book a viewing. So then I emailed her to clarify if this is the remote viewing that I requested and she finally responded that her colleague will be in touch and me. So I booked a time with Torres, and because of the time difference, I ended up staying up late to wait for this viewing, only for him to ask me to reschedule as he’s busy. I tried to be understanding so I accepted a video recording which actually ended up being at the same time he originally scheduled me in and said he was too busy for me. I then applied for the property and after getting shortlisted, I didn’t hear back from anyone for a week. So I followed up with Chelsea about 3 times, and no response. I followed up with Torres. No response. It was only after about the 5th email that I simply asked Chelsea for an update that she told me that I haven’t completed the application (I did everything in my end correctly but it seems something didn’t work on her end and she didn’t bother to tell me about this) I only found out about it after the 5th email, and she basically said she can’t proceed with the application because she failed to notify me that there is something that needs uploading like a NZ ID (I’m not from nz so I uploaded my nationalities ID). I actually had to pull out of this as it’s been such a stressful process. I ended up applying for a property at a different agency that got approved in one day and so much else stress! Instead of apologising for her mistakes she’s sending me rude emails now constantly. Please do not deal with this agency for rentals.

But behind that experience, there is support, understanding, and the care that makes us feel happy and secure in that home. I would like to say a few words about Michael Springett.❤️ As a newcomer and as a foreigner, it is not easy to secure a rental property without strong references. In other words, without a solid rental history in this country, finding a home is quite difficult. When I came with my family, I explained my situation to him and provided all the documents I could. I needed a house urgently, and the support and consideration he gave us at that time meant a lot to me. I am truly grateful for that. From arranging home appliances to responding promptly to SMS and emails for any need, his support has been remarkable and greatly appreciated. Over the past year, the assistance he provided has been very comforting and reassuring. Unfortunately, due to unavoidable circumstances, we are unable to renew the tenancy. As we move to a new place, it would not be right to leave without expressing our sincere thanks. My heartfelt thanks to Crockers and especially to Mike. When a tree in our backyard fell due to bad weather, she made sure everything was properly arranged before she went on holiday, even though she was about to leave. Negative experience: I am currently a tenant managed by Crockers Property Management and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The property was not handed over in a reasonably clean and tidy condition, maintenance was incomplete, and we were required to meet contractors on site and remain there for hours while cleaning and repairs were carried out after we had already moved in. A broken shower also resulted in an injury, which was dismissed rather than taken seriously. Access to a storage locker included in the tenancy was not provided for 12 days due to incorrect information loaded into their system; an error they later acknowledged. During this time we were forced to live with boxes and belongings throughout the apartment despite paying full rent, which directly impacted our quiet enjoyment of the property. Communication with Natalee Butcher has been consistently dismissive and unhelpful. Legitimate concerns were described as “going in circles,” responsibility was repeatedly shifted onto us as tenants, and comments were made implying we should not have moved in over the New Year period. We were also told cleaning was arranged as a “goodwill gesture” despite photo evidence showing the property was not to standard at commencement. Escalation to management has resulted in delays and excuses rather than resolution. After several weeks, compensation for the inconvenience and breaches raised has still not been addressed. The overall handling of this tenancy from handover standards to communication and accountability falls well below what is expected from a professional property management company.

Fantastic experience: We recently moved to New Zealand from the Philippines, and none of us had been here before. Finding a place to live under normal circumstances is already challenging—but due to unexpected immigration hurdles, we were also under serious time pressure. Chelsea Foster was absolutely instrumental in helping us secure a home quickly. I sent her many emails (probably too many!), yet she was never daunted. She consistently responded—sometimes late in the evening or very early in the morning—and always with professionalism, patience, and genuine care. Because of her “above and beyond” effort, we were able not only to find an ideal place to live, but to do so within a very tight timeframe. Her support made a stressful situation manageable, and we are incredibly grateful. Please extend our sincere thanks to Chelsea and anyone else involved in our application process. Very well done.

In this time my dealing with Donna have been excellent, you couldn't ask for more. She has always given me the time to address my concerns and done a very good job. Very professional in every way. She makes things happen and a pleasure to work with on projects undertaken. Her calm attitude makes any tricky issue seem like not a big deal. If all account managers at Crockers are like Donna, I highly recommend Crockers to manage any size property.

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received from Crockers property managers/assitants. Their property managers/assistants have been naive, insensitive, agressive and very rude, and also like rigid robots from the past that cannot think for themselves!

Fantastic experience: Our Body Corporate has worked in partnership with Crockers for many years and I have worked closely with the company in my capacity as Chairman for the past four years. Our account manager is responsive to our requests and is timely in paying creditors. The preparation for the AGM is thorough, with a clearly defined preparatory process, excellent chairing of the meeting and post-AGM follow-up. Our account manager changed two years ago. Her manager stepped in during the induction of the new recruit to ensure that there was a seamless transition. Importantly, I always feel supported by a professional and competent team.

Negative experience: Crockers should be shut down they lack the respect to deal with customers this is also clear with their responses here on google. Their pretend nice responses here also highlight their very standoff behaviour. They think that they are right even when they are wrong. Utterly useless service a clear inability to take accountability.

Negative experience: Beyond disgusted with the ethics of professionalism, especially around the bond refund and access to the property to rectify issues after final inspection! (Dealing with Cherry) Never will we work with this incompetent property management teams!

Fantastic experience: As part of a newly formed body corporate committee, we’ve been working with Crockers for about two months during a complex transition from developer control. They stepped up quickly and helped get us started on a solid governance path. They handled the AGM process professionally, engaged constructively with owners, and brought clarity to difficult funding and governance issues. There is still more to work through, but the foundations feel strong. A special mention to Naomi, whose calm, practical leadership has made a real difference. Our complex was in a transition period moving from developer owned to the apartments being sold and owned by individual residents.
