Negative experience: If Raymond Kwan is your listing agent, good luck to you and may God be your saviour. This man is all talk and no action/interest. He is backed by a bunch of high headed branch managers as well..all hand in glove. Totally mislead into an auction and were set up to a spectacular failure by this fellow right from the get go.Would never recommend this outfit to anyone.

Fantastic experience: A very dedicated and trustworthy agent, a safe pair of hands. Leo Ramirez is an experienced agent who turned out to be a very good choice for us and our property. For a start, he was the only agent to front up at our door and offer his services. Maybe that's Old-Fashioned, but a lot of old customs are still better than newer ones. Like persistence and diligence, having integrity and perseverance. It turned out that Leo already knew the history of our property and a family that lived here previously. He had a connection with and an affinity for the property which we think worked in our favour. The first three months - in a depressed market at the tail end of winter followed by a wet start to spring - brought very little interest, but Leo stuck it out, running two Open Homes every weekend, without fail. Leo is patient and responsive but not pushy, and he put almost no pressure on us (beyond generic suggestions) to drop our price, but left us to discuss that option and decide when to make the call. We both appreciated that strategy, and when the sun came out, so did the Buyers, leading to a happy outcome. Another thing about Leo - he's a night owl who doesn't go to bed until late. If you need to contact him at 11pm, chances are, he'll happily take your call. And he doesn't muck around but does things promptly, giving you confidence that he's on the ball and doing all he can to sell your property. We found him to be relaxed, diplomatic and easy to get on with, and are very satisfied with our decision to go with Leo. We think you will be too.

In NZ real estate where the Real Estate ecosystem is designed with only Seller's interest in mind, as a buyer it is very hard to find an agent who is honest & trustworthy. But we felt Eric was genuine & quickly gave us a feeling that we can trust him. Eric was one of the few agents who were genuinely trying to help us buy house. He told us to send even other properties that are looking at & often called us with matching houses that matched our interest. I mean not just blindly forwarding all the properties being sold by them, Eric would often send us properties advertised by others, call & explain us how it matched our interest. If we say YES, then he would then fix private viewing by calling us.

Negative experience: We were looking for a new place to move in an saw a potential home. We have booked a viewing for the Thursday afternoon with Amy, on our way there she phoned us and said she has to cancel and will send me a text the next day to make a new booking, we aggreed and turned the car around to head back home. I waited for her text the next day, heard nothing. Around 12pm I desided to phone - no answer. I sent her a text asking to view the property, she then replied and said we can view the property on Saturday at 10am. We were infront of the property 20min before, around 10am we received a text from her saying she will be 5min late, we said that is fine and waited untill 10:45. Another employee from Barfoot showed up to view the property and we went up to her and asked her where Amy is - she said she was supposed to be here and should've already left. We told her that we have been waiting for Amy all this time but she was a no show... we will not be taking this property...
