Negative experience: I would question Kelvin Winnie's ethics. He also lacks confidence in his own sales ability. Move on.

Negative experience: Unfortunately I selected Leon first and then got landed with Sarah. Leon couldn't stop lying repeatedly and did not respect my wishes. Next was Sarah. So fake it was uncomfortable. No stars would have been more appropriate tbh.

We first dealt with Kelvin when looking at Apartments in Napier, we didn't find what we wanted on our first visit but Kelvin contacted us when another apartment came on to the market that he thought we would consider. Kelvin showed us through and spent a couple of hours with us, we had made our minds up from the minute that we walked in, that this was the apartment for us. Kelvin handled the negotiation process very professionally and was always available to respond to any questions we had. We were in a position to make an unconditional offer and were delighted when we won the tender. Kelvin was good enough to arrange for us to come up to Napier and spend a few hours at the apartment measuring rooms for a clearer picture of sizes. The owner of the apartment met us on site and was good enough to allow us to stay on our own for as long as we liked. Kelvin has been so easy to deal with, nothing is ever too much trouble and he dealt very professionally with our broker and our Lawyer. We were very surprised and delighted to receive a gift from Tremains of a beautiful mohair throw - beats a bottle of champagne any day. He was always cheerful and patient and took time to explain what the best approach was to get the outcome we wanted. In a depressed market Kelvin used all his experience to get the sale. Positive experience: Emotional Roller Coast Well Managed . It was a long and stressful process from the start to settlement. Caroline was very supportive and honest throughout the entire process. Our first offer did not fall through due to financing not being approved, which delayed the sale of the house. Despite the setback, Caroline remained calm and kept me regularly informed, including updates on a new buyer. It was a long and sometimes stressful process right up to the last minute, but Caroline consistently followed up with the builders to ensure everything was sorted on time

Fantastic experience: Initially Sebastian Kiriona from Tremains was a referral through another property he was selling, and as we are not from Napier we took him at face value and on recommendation. And to be fair I’m glad we did. Seb has been an outstanding agent covering all the bases and leaving nothing out but also making the process fairly simple. The house sold in 3 days and the price expectation was accurate. Not over estimating and then being disappointed Seb was pretty much on the mark. He also helped with subjects that weren’t in scope to ensure we could go to market. And whilst you would think that’s just an agent wanting to get the sale we felt Seb was very sincere in his approach, given also this was deceased estate and not the easiest of times for the vendors. A job very well done.

Kelv provided us with excellent advice and guidance with the sale of our investment property. His knowledge of the current property market and who our potential buyers were was really helpful in us making the important decision on how best to sell our property. Most importantly he listened to our specific circumstances and we a made plan from there with his guidance. When you don’t sell your property often it’s important to have someone who doesn’t use jargon and terms that you don’t understand - Kelvin showed us respect by explaining the process to us in terms we could understand which meant we could make an informed decision on which approach to take with the sale of our property. We never felt rushed and his communication with us through the whole process was faultless. He followed through on every arrangement we made with him ie., follow up phone calls or meeting up. We had 2 sales that fell through at the last minute, but Kelvin always knew how to get us motivated again, in a difficult market. They sold our property within a month using their combined powers of youth and experience.Having worked in real estate myself for a number of years we were particularly fussy about our choice of agent. They did not disappoint, especially as we listed our home with them a week before my major knee surgery. Their professionalism and dedication was evident from day 1.They are hard workers and come highly recommended from Ken and myself.

Negative experience: I had a bad experience in dealing with Tremain rentals. I found the rental people unfriendly, inefficient and unprofessional. Please do not bother. Try others agencies or Trade me as I found them to be good and professional. I was looking a small rental property in Napier and a mutual friend who works for the real estate introduced me to them. My budget was actually way high above average. I filled all the forms and asked them to get back to me. I heard nothing after sending several emails to follow up. No response. After two weeks of chasing them with no response or acknowledgement, I took time off work and went to their rental office. The lady there was unwelcoming and started with: “Who are you?!” I explained that to her I have been looking for a rental property and I sent them the forms and I have waiting to hear from them. She said that they do not have any properties that match my needs. I looked at the board which showed the properties that they were renting at the time and there were at least three properties that were below my budget and could have easily fitted my needs. I said ok and thank you but I felt shooed away as I left. How bizarre. Try others agencies or Trade me as I found them to be good and professional. Cheers.
