Fantastic experience: Our property was listed in mid January and we completed the sale in mid March. Throughout the process Jason Clark and his team have been both very professional and also approachable and user-friendly. Jason's knowledge of the area (Pauatahanui) was second to none as were his contacts within the wider industry. There were a few road-bumps in the process, mainly as a result of interfaces with the local Council: Jason did his level best to navigate those issues promptly and effectively. Would we use his services again? absolutely, I do not believe there is anyone else in the area who could match his service and effectiveness. It was a pleasure to work with him and his team.

Fantastic experience: My husband and I engaged the services of Mel to sell our rental property. Before putting the house on the market we reached out to our local community asking who they would recommend as an agent and why. Mel Troy’s name was consistently mentioned for her professionalism and going the extra mile. Prior to making the decision on which agent to engage we took Mel and another agent separately through the property. Right from the get-go it was obvious that Mel knew her stuff, not only in terms of selling properties but she was well versed on the tenancy laws, advising us on what the tenants’ rights were when it came to marketing and selling the property. Due to this knowledge and her professionalism when she presented her proposal there was no question that Mel was the right choice. Unfortunately for us, our tenant was very difficult to deal with throughout this journey however Mel, due to her calm, friendly and professional approach built a good relationship with them enabling good communication and access to the property and ultimately to the sale of the house. Selling a key asset like a house can be a very stressful time and Mel guided us through with clear communication, good support and a lot of laughs along the way. We really appreciated the efforts Mel went to for us and would be happy to recommend her to anyone wanting to sell their property. Fantastic experience: As we prepared to sell our house in Plimmerton, we were so pleased to find Mel Troy at Clark & Co. Her friendly and informative manner, plus the fact that she was a true local and active in the local community, put us at ease straight away. We really felt she had our best interests at heart. Timing, however, was against us: we put our house on the market just as the government's responsible-lending measures came into effect and there was a pronounced reduction in activity, depressing house prices. As a result it was seven months before we found a buyer, but over that time Mel and her colleague Beck Evans plugged away with open homes and private showings, cared for the property (we'd already moved out) and provided helpful counsel as our expectations took a few blows. Their efforts finally paid off and we secured a sale which, if not what we'd originally hoped for, was certainly satisfactory given the challenging circumstances. We'd recommend Mel and Beck without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Prior to listing our property at Aotea, we asked 4 real estate agents to quote for our business. Marina and I felt the most comfortable with Mel Troy as she came across as genuine and professional. Had we gone with another agency we would have spent about another $12,000 on total selling expenses for no apparent benefit to the sale price. We hit the market at a tricky time in early January where the was a change in market sentiment due to rising interest rates and changes in legislation. In the end we managed to negotiate our way around these changes so that we ended up a with a 'win win' result for us as the vendors and the purchasers who also had a house to sell.
