Negative experience: Made Contact to cutlers today regarding an retail property and possible viewings! And Emily Roberts Rudely refused a viewing! And that refusal and manner of so had made me Awear of Emily being a person that had been stalking and harassing me on social media! For some time! Her online after work decisions shouldent inpackt her job! This woman i have never meet or spoken too before! And wouldent have known it was her. But when I rang for questioning I got a gasp response and she hanged up!, BEWEARE of this Realistate agent and agency! Everybody deserves the right of respect!. Police have been made awear of the harassment online, ive got plenty of paperwork to show the abusive comments from her, she and her colleagues should be ashamed of what her problem is with someone who's worthy of so much better.

Fantastic experience: Edit: This is an update after 2 years from the last one. In application for another rental property, Oliver not only remembered who I was, but came in clutch when I needed a prompt and good rental reference. Reliable, easy, and helpful. 5 stars it is, Olly :). If you are going to go with a Cutlers property, cross your fingers and pray that your property will be managed by Oliver; he makes landlord-tenant interactions heaven. I would rate 5 stars for he himself, because he deserves it, but have instead left 4 because previous property managers had their issues, and did some suspicious things.

Fantastic experience: If I could give 6 stars I would. Andrew was magnificent. The speed in which he pulled the strings to get the listing off the ground, and then 3 days after listing into a multi offer situation. Absolutely faultless. Andrew was also a pleasure to work with. His energy and enthusiasm is second to none.

Fantastic experience: An excellent experience where Hamish exceeded all expectations. I was a very remote seller, being on the other side of the world, while my wife is based in New Zealand. At no point did I feel the remoteness meant that I didn't know what was going on at the earliest opportunity. The house, as well as needing refurbishment, is quite quirky and wouldn't suit everyone. I imagined it would take quite a while to find a seller. Hamish managed this after one open home, and also exceeded the price I believed that we might get. Hamish was in regular contact by email, and seemed to be working at a very early hour going by the speedy replies to emails I sent late afternoon. I'm unlikely to be selling again in New Zealand, but if we're, I would use Hamish without any hesitation.

Fantastic experience: Part of the family . We are writing this review about Jo Turnbull who has been our agent in Milton for almost 10 years. During that time we have brought and sold 2 properties, have had multiple tenants and repairs (minor and major). As we live abroad it would have been almost impossible to have managed the work without Jo’s amazing service. Fantastic experience: Nick Beard Works for a good outcome. Full disclosure, we have known Nick since he was a wee boy. When it came to selling our mum's house, Nick was the first one we thought of. Nick proved to be everything that we hoped for and more. He was organised, sympathetic and suggested a couple of ways forward with options. Everything was detailed and he worked his plan well, with the SOLD sign up within 2 weeks. Nick has a great reputation in the Dunedin real estate market and deservedly so. You will find him honest and trustworthy, well in touch with the market movements and able to offer sound advice and marketing strategies. That nice neighbourhood kid has become a very astute realtor who can market your place with love and care.

Negative experience: As a student, I strongly recommend renting through another agency. My partner and I had a horrible experience with Matt Cutler and Sarah McKenzie while arranging a move to a new place. When my partner called Cutlers on a Saturday to ask about the move-in timeline so we could provide adequate notice to our landlord, he was transferred to Sarah, who was on call for the weekend. Unfortunately, her response was dismissive, and she repeatedly asked, 'Is this an emergency? Is this really an emergency?' being both unprofessional and unhelpful. I later called back to clarify and was met with a similar response. After leaving a review about our experience, Matt Cutler contacted me via email, stating that my review was unacceptable and informing me that the agency would no longer offer us the property. Fortunately, we had another option lined up, but not everyone would be so lucky, especially when trying to navigate tight timelines and exam stress. In the end, we secured an entire three-bedroom house for less than what Cutlers was going to charge us for a 1 bedroom sleep out, the size of one of our bedrooms. Based on our experience, I would definitely not recommend this agency and hope they reflect on how they communicate with potential tenants in the future.
