Negative experience: Just went for a long drive for a rental viewing in Brighton! Late afternoon to meet the late to the viewing with Nathen from LJ hooker! I got told to go in the occupied house! B4 he even was there! We where the only ones to take shoes off! I felt Nathan's demena and personality very rude and uncomfortable! He wouldent show us the garage but said its huge and there's not going to be another viewing to view it and said pretty much he waisted my time expenses and effort to view his property! This is the seconds worst viewing.out of 386 viewings that I have had know. And to turn around and say the house was taken, actually makes him and his viewing today the worst experience I've had. Fantastic experience: Ì have not rented a house in years.....I am now, due to circumstances, I won't go into!!! I am a very house proud person, and like to have it spotless!!! NEVER have I had someone come to check on regular basis!!!! A lot of stuff went wrong in the beginning, and I would have to ring Neville .......At one stage he made a comment, slightly under his breath, about the amount of issues, that had gone wrong since I had been there....I felt gutted. Everytime I thought of him, my nickname for him, became Neville the devil.... But after I got to know him better, and I think he got to know me better, things changed!! I no longer stress when he comes for his peeping Tom inspections(.that is what I call it).I realise his job is very important!!! His job is not an easy one!!! But if something goes wrong I ring him and Neville the devil ALWAYS delivers!!! I hugely appreciate him now!!! He knows my standard in cleaning the house and my standard is high!!! Now in my mind I have changed completely how I think about him!!! He has a job to do!!! His standard is high, just like mine!!! The house had been empty for a long time, it wasn't up to my standard !!! I have got it now how I like it, my standard!!! The only thing I can't seem to change, to refer to him as Neville the Devil it has become an endearing name now!!! I misjudged Neville at the start, and I think he has a job to do, and does it very well, I can imagine some days and some people don't make it easy!!! He is great at his job, and I have completely changed my mind about Neville!!!! But when I think of him when something goes .wrong. I know Neville ( the devil) will sort it for me!!! YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!!!!!!

Positive experience: Hi, We had 2 agents during our rentals both doing a job, both performed there duties similarly, we found one had a very abrasive attitude which maybe, is needed with some, we didn't like it. We even had to follow up our overpayment and are still waiting on finalizing although we left the property on 1st December. Hopefully our Bond won't be held up. Merry Christmas

Positive experience: Experience with LJ Hooker has been average. I've had some poor interactions with staff and in going into the office, I had a poor experience with someone being quite rude. However, overall most employees are kind and good to work with.

Fantastic experience: I've been linked with LJH since 2014 - have always found them to be a breeze to deal with. In my case, Nev's my agent (and has been, since 2014). He takes care of a quirky, small property I own on the Peninsula. The property is rural, but sandwiched between residential. It throws up its share of challenges and Nev's ALWAYS been up to them. He jumps onto whatever's needed, with no buggerising about. He gets onto things immediately and does everything I could ask. In fact, that's underselling how he operates - he does WAY, way more more than I should ask. I live OS so everything's done via SMS messages, emails and phone calls. (And apologies, Nev, for those times I've cocked-up the calculations of our respective time zone differences. I know there's been some weird times when I've called...) I've also found everyone else in the office to be good buggers to deal with. There's no airs or graces; just solid down-to-earth advice and a very sensible approach to their mahi. I know this will sound like I'm blowing smoke up their respective derrières, but that's not what this is about. They're good people, doing good work, with a no BS approach to how they go about looking after your asset. More power to them. Cheers, Tony

Being able to hand over the keys and responsibility took a whole lot of stress away when we had other things to think about. Positive experience: Good overall management of the 2 properties. However can be very slow with communications (up to 3-4 weeks or no reply) which is frustrating. Maybe the property manager has too many properties to manage hence the slow response times to myself and passing on messages from my tenants.
