Fantastic experience: Experience counts when the pressure is on... When I decided to put my house on the market I was looking for a company that could get it sold quickly at a fair market price. Alistair's presentation indicated that he had a good appreciation of my situation, and had a well thought out marketing plan. He had a keen understanding of current market conditions and knew how to leverage the unique features of the house to generate buyer interest. He advised me to invest in obtaining reports that would provide assurance to first home buyers, and an advertising campaign that would provide maximum reach. Alistair was confident and enthusiastic without being pushy, and explained the technicalities of real estate marketing in language I could understand. He provided guidance on how I should stage the house, and kept me motivated to complete the tasks necessary to make the house more appealing to buyers. Tenders closed two and a half weeks after the house went on the market with offers received, resulting in a sale being achieved a few days later. The price was right in line with my expectations and I have to say that Alistair delivered what he said he would... a quick sale at a fair price. Fantastic experience: Consumate professional . Selling remotely in a buyers market is really the acid test for an agent. Iain had given me an evaluation at the height of the market to help me gauge the potential for remodelling work. That provided valuable insight into the what potentially buyers were realistically likely to be looking for including some features which on a steep Roseneath site would be cost prohibitive. Fast forward to 2025 with the quantum of remodelling work decided on finally completed I was grateful for Iain's early advise in a market that most definitely wasn't paying for whims and nice to haves. For the sale Iain and I had a clear idea we needed to market thoroughly, with the property prepared and maintained to the highest standards. The market material prepared was first rate and all the media channels were covered. With the preparation done I selling in the spring market we had the confidence to respond to a tought market without hesitation. Preceding our recent property purchase, Tommy Madams managed us through several property enquiry and prospective purchase processes in several central Wellington suburb locations. Fantastic experience: Five-star service from Alexia Stoddart. I was selling my father's house and approached a few agents for appraisals. Alexia stood out immediately above the rest: her appraisal was considered, polished, thorough, and she explained everything clearly. She was very respectful of my father's situation and his affection for his house, in which he'd lived for 40+ years. Alexia focussed on the property's strengths and marketed it well, resulting in plenty of open home visits and enquiries. My father and I were both very happy with the final result. Her dedication and enthusiasm were much appreciated. I would 100% recommend Alexia to anyone selling their property.

Negative experience: Had a very disappointing experience with Jo Butters from Tommy’s. She came across as unprofessional, biased, and lacking fairness throughout our interactions. Instead of providing clear guidance, her approach felt dismissive and prejudiced, which made the entire process unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant. I would strongly caution anyone considering working with her or Tommy’s agency. There are far more professional, respectful, and trustworthy real estate agents in Wellington. Seriously!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic agent across all market conditions . Warrick has been our exclusive agent for all our property transactions in Wellington. When buying, Warrick has found properties with great cash flow and long term potential. Sometimes this hasn't been so obvious to us but Warrick's knowledge of the Wellington property market has helped when making the decision to purchase or not. This was also the case when selling and Warrick was successful with getting great results even in today's slower market. It would be difficult to find a better agent than Warrick to work with in Wellington.

Positive experience: Professional subject matter experts. Will and Chris did a great job helping me to understand and go through the process of selling my property. I particularly appreciated the extra steps Will took, patiently explaining parts of the process that weren't clear, and showing me properties that came close to what I was wanting to buy. While the anticipated sale price of my property wasn't met, it came close enough for me to accept.
