Negative experience: Unfortunately, my experience selling my home with Jess from Team Zay was extremely disappointing. From the outset, I wanted to list my property with a fixed asking price, but I was encouraged to use a Deadline Sale instead. After that was unsuccessful, I was finally allowed to list with a price, only for it to be quickly changed again to “Price by Negotiation,” despite me expressing that I wasn’t comfortable with this approach. There were also issues with the marketing. Photos were missing from my listing, and I was asked to provide them myself. Some agreed marketing didn’t occur, and open home dates were missed or changed, which added to my frustration. When I raised concerns about feeling unsupported and unheard, I was disappointed by the unprofessional way my concerns were handled by both Team Zay’s lead and the principal. I ultimately accepted an offer below my expectations and well below my property’s CV. While I understand no agent can guarantee a sale price, I left the process feeling pressured and unsupported rather than guided through one of the biggest financial decisions of my life. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Team Zay.
