Negative experience: I bought a house sold by Pete Baylis and he absolutely looked down on me and treated me like I was less than. He hated the house he sold me and made this obvious throughout the sale. I feel he has a misogynistic attitude towards women.

Positive experience: Patsy has been more than accommodating when it comes to our tenancy. When our needs changed she went out of her way to help us in to a more suitable property.

Thomas, was very well presented, polite, efficient, answered phone calls/texts and always returned the calls. He was on time for meetings and nothing was too much trouble for him. We found Rachel to be responsive, constructive, and she provided a good balance of moderation between Landlord and Tenant. We had few issues, and most were resolved promptly. Those that were not, were due to factors outside Rachel's direct control.

Positive experience: Macdonald real estate have been amazing from the moment I moved into the first residual property in Carrington Street almost 4years ago till the present property were in. However it has been a little confusing at times when I'm getting messages from the landlord about things that need to be repaired etc even though I go through the real estate agent. I would prefer to have things done when they need to be done eg renovations to the home have been advised that will be done but we are still waiting for them for them to be completed or adhered to for our safety and comfort. The real estate agent has been easily contact able however and has done their utmost best to stick to their word and do as much as they can to have things fixed when asked and notified.

My rental agent Patsy Castles , is thorough, replies to txt and email quickly as possible and makes sure that if any problems arise she contacts the owner and tries to resolve them as soon as she can. As required by the Agency Patsy comes for inspection every three months and takes photos which not only covers the owners needs but also helps to recognise and find appropriate remedies if any problems arise. Negative experience: The rental division of McDonald Real Estate is woeful, bordering on incompetent. If you want your property professionally managed go somewhere else. The owner can try and defend the poor communication, and lack of knowledge of his staff all he likes. However abdication of responsibility is not going to enhance the reputation of his business and its poorly trained and very rude staff. Again, if you want your property managed professionally don't use McDonald's Real Estate. Daniel you've got to be having a laugh if you think you should get a 5 star review.

Would not recommend McDonalds Real Estate at all. In reference to your reply: It's amazing to see that you were quick enough to reply to a Google review and how McDonald Real Estate never bothered to make contact before this. Firstly, although you had my wife's and my contact details, the point still remains that the communication remained poor throughout the term. Secondly, just to clear the air around the cleaning charges, these were charged to us and never refunded. I have the summary statement provided by McDonald Real Estate to prove that.I can send you a copy too. Moreover, the cleaning was carried out without prior consultation with us which inturn highlights your shoddy communication with your clients. Please try and get your facts right before you put things online. Also feel free to call me to discuss this if you may need any clarification around this issue. You have my contact details.
