She was helpful from the day I first went to visit the property, to moving in, and then for the duration of my occupancy. She was awesome to deal with, and was very responsive - no request was a hassle for her to deal with. She gave more then the minimum notice required to do inspections and communicated what I needed to do for my part of maintenance which was great. She was very respectful, and represented the landlords very well as she took a lot of pride in the property. On the business side of things, the process and forms are simple, clear and precise when you're signing up and signing out. Highly recommend Professionals.

Fantastic experience: Thankyou to the wonderful staff last night 10th October who looked after our large group celebrating my 70th birthday. They were welcoming, so helpful, friendly and nothing was a problem. It was the best atmosphere. A HUGE thankyou

Negative experience: ****Not Suitable for Landlords**** They will intentionally delay conversation with Landlord to miss important deadlines such as notifications to tenants on a fixed term tenancy, at the expense of the landlord. Inappropriate advice to tenants such as to cause damage to property and disguise it as “wear and tear” in order to remove furniture unwanted by tenants. There are other dodgy matters that are now surfacing as time goes by. Including that they have not filed any changes of repairs done on the house in compliance with the healthy homes assessment. In addition they refused to provide the pictures they took of the house for the new property manager to use. And when you want to leave them because of their shady dealings, they pull out the “you need to give us 6 weeks’ notice prior to termination on top of the minimum 6 months agreement” shady clause or they slap you with a $500 break fee. Best if landlords avoided these guys. Don’t get me wrong, I have yet to meet a decent property management agency but professionals is by far the shadiest and least professional so far. I specifically dealt with Jodi-Anne Taiapa and Rob Drinnan. Even after paying the break fee, they refused to provide the pictures of the property that could be used to check the property once tenants exited. After adding an extractor fan a ceiling heater went missing and this was not checked by the property manager.

Positive experience: I find the property management team of Professionals works highly efficiently and effectively. They carry out their duties prudently and are alert to possible fraud.

Fantastic experience: We have a rental house in Palmerston North (a city we don't live in) and we have had The Palmerston North Professionals team managing it for us for 3 years now. I have to say that the experience has been totally stress free. The house has been superbly managed right from the selecting of tenants process, through to the house maintenance and organizing of repairs as needed and the comprehensive tri-monthly inspection reports. Fantastic experience: Viewed the property on a Friday, fell in love with it, sent forth documents and the application on the same day. After 1 week, we were moving in! What I love most is our agent is in constant communication. The property is well maintained by both the agent and the owner, which is a good motivation for me the tenant to keep it maintained as well. Fantastic experience: I'm a student in Palmerston North and flatting can be stressful and overwhelming but Unique Realty – Professionals Rentals have made it super easy. Signing the contract was a quick and easy process and was handled professionally. They always get back to our inquiries within a day and their communication is always clear with messages sent out to all members of the flat (which is super helpful as I've had previous flats where the landlord/relator contacts only one person assuming they report back to everyone!). They also give us ample warning before coming to the house. Hopefully we'll get to stick with them next year :)
