Negative experience: Took me 2 months to get my bond back, while the agent lied to me repeatedly about having filled out the paperwork. Consistently put the blame on the bond service, who when I finally called let me know that he hadn't even submitted the paperwork. I got contacted by an old flatmate today asking me about the bond because she has been having the same experience. It's a real shame that this one agent completely destroys any credibility of anyone else.

Negative experience: My experience with Shelly Naylor has been very disappointing. Communication was slow and unhelpful, and important issues with the property were not addressed despite multiple follow-ups. I would not recommend this agency based on how poorly maintenance and tenant concerns were handled.

Negative experience: I wouldn't use this agency..over charging tenants with rent, trying to make tenants pay for things that were already broken in the house. Olivia Giles is terrible!

Negative experience: As a landlord, I didn’t have a good experience with Shelley Naylor Realty and I wouldn’t use this agency again. The tenants were underpaying rent each month and the arrears didn’t get picked up until 10 months into the tenancy - the arrears were over $700. I had three different property managers in three years as they kept leaving the company. Communication was hit and miss. When the tenants recently moved out the final inspection was completed by the property manager who said “I found the home to be presented in a clean and tidy state”. These pictures say otherwise. Not impressed.

Negative experience: They do illegal inspections and do not email or text - they turn up and walk through the house while u in bed ( proven with video cameras to the tribunal ) they release your full bond when you leave then legally chase you through the courts 4 months after you leave ( proven with tribunal emails if you wish to co tact me for proof ) they say your the best Tennant ever then rubbish you when you leave - they won't get back to any of your maintenance requests and emails you send them - again proven with emails at tribunal hearings - my advice is ALL OWNERS AND RENTERS STAY AWAY FROM THIS INCOMPETENT REAL ESTATE BUSINESS- i bet their response will be in their favor but if you Google my name and contact me I'll prove with tribunal notes they sent us it's all true. Let's force this type of real estate business out and in time more and more people will see what they are like and let them sink by their own actions

Negative experience: I'm sad to have to change my review. Our last interaction was regarding selling our home and buying another. While our situation was unusual, the agent came to our home and, while friendly enough I was left wondering about her. She promised she'd be in touch soon. It's been about 8 months. We've never heard a peep, not even to ask if we're still wanting to sell or to say she hasn't found anything. Three other agents, fortunately, are keen to keep in touch and see what comes up, even though our situation makes things more difficult. Previously, our interactions with staff from here have been great, but that was several years ago.

Sharnée is our property manager and she has gone above and beyond to ensure our home is well looked after with the right tenants. We have previously used another agency and the communication, professionalism and most importantly genuine care from Shelley Naylor has been so appreciated. When you visit the office, you can feel the good vibes. Everyone is friendly and happy to be there. We would not hesitate to recommend Sharnée and the rest of her team!

Negative experience: Bad communication. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Had a confirmed viewing for a rental and drove three hours out of town just to find out when we got there that Shelley Naylor cancelled the viewing for the property. My family and i hadn’t received any cancellation email or call prior to the viewing date. I had sent an email about the situation on the day it happened and a week later still no response from them. Would not recommend at all and the tenants at the property (that informed us about Shelley Naylor cancelling the viewing) said we even “dodged a bullet” with this agency.

Negative experience: We purchased a property through Shelley Naylor. They did not disclose that gas heater did not work. Left it off chattels list. Our bad for not noticing but still feel this was not professional behaviour from an agent. Very hard to contact agent, had to contact direct with vendor (this was pre Covid). Took over during Covid, still difficult to contact agent to get keys. After take over not even a congratulatory card.

Fantastic experience: We rent a property in Feilding with Bob Weaver as our Property Manager. Last Saturday we awoke to an urgent problem so we emailed him thinking he would get the email on Monday morning . Well by Saturday afternoon Bob had notified the owners and a repairman was organised. Although a big job it was attended to immediately with both Bob and the repairman putting safety first.
