Fantastic experience: Indi’s authenticity, knowledge and care made our purchase even more special. In what can be a stressful time, Indi’s warmth through her communication went a long way to alleviating any of those feelings. There was genuine care for both the buyer and vendor. Questions, if required were answered promptly whether they were regarding the property or how the sale was progressing. Her knowledge regarding the homes history and architecture were unmatched, but also provided insights into the vendors memories from their time in the home, which can only be gained by trust. To sum up our experience in a review does no justice to Indi’s work, all I can say is, we wouldn’t want to have brought from anyone else.

Negative experience: We rented through Janice Cowdy a few years ago and it was an absolute nightmare. She was condescending towards my wife and I when we had problems that needed fixing in the home - we had a broken chattel for over 3 months without any action. She only cares about landlords. I don’t recommend

Fantastic experience: Instructions were easy to follow along with plenty of notifications regarding the information needed. The property was well presented during the flat viewing with plenty of information provided to inform us about the situation of the flat. the property manager answered most of our questions and told us about her expectations for the future tenants of the property. The website to sign up for the tenancy was easy to use with plenty of instructions, along with the fast replies from the property manager when we had a question for her. While signing the tenancy, the property manager went through all of her future expectations for us, future tenants, along with the additional information such as insurance etc. Overall, the service was very professional.

Fantastic experience: Finally, an authentic real estate agent that acts in the best interest of the seller. Franco has old-school values, an honest approach and clever strategy. He under-promised and over-delivered, getting me a higher sale value than expected on one of my investment properties in a tough market. Indi has gone above and beyond for all parties to get an positive outcome for all! Negative experience: Took time off work to view Belfast heritage museum, no where on the listing does it say you will be sharing the property with others, the agent didn't bring the keys so booking was 15mins late, he wasn't there early to air the house out windows running with condensation smelt very mouldy, carpet was wet and socks got soaked, they also don't advise you there will be museum viewings 2 x a year. I would highly recommend being completely HONEST with your listings. This property is not suitable for children like how your photos make the property look. Very deceiving listing!

Negative experience: The constant email reminders to post a review and then post an google review are starting to make me second guess my experience with Cowdys rental to be honest.

Negative experience: Rented with this company back in 2017 With Property manager Jess watson. We have since been in a lovely property For 8 years under a different real estate I was a new mother when we rented a property with cowdy. I am a very clean and tidy person and have passed every property inspection at my current place and previous properties before cowdy. When we finally left the property they deducted most of our bond due to General wear and tear. We also recieved constant inspections and the owner would often show up to the property un announced.

Fantastic experience: Great result from a great agent. We have been delighted at the service we received from Jake. From the time we first contacted him - on a recommendation from a family member - we have been really impressed by his knowledge of the market, the quality of the marketing proposal and his level of communication throughout the entire process. Jake has been very approachable, very easy to deal with and managed to get a superb result for us.

Fantastic experience: From Renting to becoming a Landlord. My partner and I have been working with Cowdy for the past 4 years and we don't have anything negative to say about them. Initially we rented our first house in Christchurch through Cowdy. Gina was our property manager and she was great do deal with. Fantastic experience: Simply Excellent. We chose Nick because of his knowledge, understanding and expertise selling architectural homes. He was able to articulate through creative marketing strategies the quality and unique character of our home and its environment. Which meant he was able to readily target the right kind of buyer for our property. And he did. We sold ahead of deadline to a couple we know will treasure what is now their new home for years to come.

Negative experience: I cannot give a good review based on my experience with them. I was booked in for a viewing for one of Ruby Shaw's rental properties and had taken a day off work to attend the viewing. After spending the entire morning driving down from Nelson to Christchurch, I received an email telling me not to show up for the viewing as the property had been leased. This was an hour before the scheduled viewing. When I rang Ruby, she did not have the decency to apologise for the massive inconvenience. She simply said they found a suitable tenant. I think a viewing should only be offered when there is still a possibility of applying for the rental and certainly should not be cancelled the day of. Above all, I was quite upset by the lack of empathy Ruby showed after finding out I had travelled a great distance to view this property just to have it cancelled an hour before the viewing time. It would have been perfectly fine if she had cancelled the viewing the day before.

Fantastic experience: Great experience . Cowdy Real Estate really supported me in my most difficult times. I had always felt supported and listened to. They acted promptly with any maintenance that needed to be address, and handled anything very professionally. The Staff provided a safe secured home for myself and son. Thank you Cowdy Rentals.
